Sound familiar?

A small question about a medicine can feel very big.

The leaflet is tiny. Search results disagree. A pharmacy is not always near, and not every question feels worth the trip. So people guess.

With a child's dose, or two tablets at once, a guess is not good enough.

PharmAssist puts a pharmacist one message away.

  • What is the right dose for my child?
  • Can I take these two medicines at the same time?
  • I missed a dose. What should I do?
  • Is this strip still good after the date?
  • Can I take this tablet on an empty stomach?
  • When should I take my blood pressure tablet?
  • Questions like these, answered by a pharmacist.

How it works

From your question to a pharmacist's answer.

Write the way you speak. The app gets everything ready, and a pharmacist makes the call.

Ask.

Write your question. Add a photo of the box or strip. The app reads the medicine's name and strength from the photo.

A pharmacist checks the answer.

Your question goes to pharmacists approved in your country. A pharmacist reviews the answer and sends it.

Know when the answer is ready.

We notify you, so you can close the app. Every answer says it was reviewed and sent by a pharmacist.

The pharmacist

AI prepares. A pharmacist decides.

A pharmacist reads every question and checks every answer before it is sent. AI helps the pharmacist prepare each answer.

  1. You

    You ask

Write your question, in your language. Add a photo of the box or strip.

  2. The app

    The app prepares

    • Reads the medicine from your photo
    • Asks a few details first
    • Drafts a reply from a library of approved answers
  3. The pharmacist

    A pharmacist decides

    • Reads your question
    • Changes the draft or writes their own
    • Confirms the guidance when risk is higher
    • Sends it
  4. You

    You get the answer

A notification, then an answer marked as reviewed and sent by a pharmacist.

What the pharmacist sees.

Urgent questions come first. Your details and the app's notes are laid out beside your question, ready before the pharmacist opens it.

The pharmacist's tablet: the queue, with an urgent question at the top.
  1. Urgent questions first.

Urgent questions sit at the top of the pharmacist's queue, so the ones that need care are read first.

  2. Prepared before they open it.

The app's notes say what it would answer and where that comes from. They are for the pharmacist, never sent to you.

  3. In charge when risk is higher.

When a question carries more risk, the pharmacist confirms the guidance, and what it rests on, before it is sent.

  4. Your facts, in one place.

The details you gave and what the app read from the photo sit beside your question.

The screens are from PharmAssist's design in development. The people and medicines in them are invented.

What you get

A pharmacist's answer, without leaving home.

Ask from home. Get an answer you can trust, and keep it.

  • Every answer, checked.

Every answer says it was reviewed and sent by a pharmacist, so you always know a person stood behind it.

  • Ask with a photo.

Snap the box or strip. The app reads the name and strength for you.

  • Close the app.

We notify you when your answer is ready. You do not have to keep watching.

  • A few details first.

The app asks a few questions before a pharmacist sees yours, so your question arrives complete.

  • Every answer, kept.

Ask again from home and follow up in the same conversation.

Why a pharmacist

An answer is only as good as who checked it.

Your privacy

Your question is about a medicine. It is not about who you are.

PharmAssist is built so that a question does not need your name. This is what happens to your information.

  • Your personal details stay out.

The app does not send personal information such as your full name, email address, phone number or social security number to our servers. We put a lot of effort into removing it from every document you upload before we process it.

  • Only what the answer needs.

We may process details such as your age when they matter to your question. Nothing we process ties a question to you personally.

  • Only a pharmacist sees it.

Only a pharmacist can see your data. Once your answer is sent, it is made anonymous and stored for further processing.

  • Delete it at any time.

You can ask for your data to be deleted at any time.

  • What we keep, and why.

Data you do not delete may be stored from time to time to train our staff and our models. Your non-personal data helps other people in the future. Our policy is to store as little data about you as possible.

  • This website.

This website sets no cookies and runs no tracking. If you use the contact form, it sends the details you type, such as your name and email address, to us by email. Its other email links open in your own mail app.

We make an effort to keep stored data anonymous, so that even if our servers were hacked, no personal data could be tied to any single user.

For pharmacies

Raise the care your pharmacy gives. Lower the work behind each answer.

PharmAssist helps your pharmacists help customers better, with less work for each answer.

  • Customers ask from home, in their own language.

Answers are translated, and the numbers, units and medicine names are checked.

  • Prepared before they open it.

The app takes the details, reads the photo and drafts a reply from the approved library.

  • Your pharmacist decides.

A pharmacist checks every answer and sends it, with less work for each answer.

  • A record of every answer.

What the app offered and what the pharmacist sent are kept.
